Once well intentioned people, cursed with power began to change into something else. Something twisted by power and madness. The worlds greatest minds panicked to try and contain the threat, but it was the people at Quade Research that found the solution. Using advanced technology in the fields of genetic research and engineering, they created fifty five individual mutants using strands of DNA collected from subjects they had managed to capture. They would fight fire with fire, mutant against mutant. Backed by the government the da Vinci Project was born.''
