| Dark Secret: A few months before his sixteenth birthday, Aaron became acquainted with a foreign exchange student from Paris, France by the name of Cecile Roche. Half-French, Half-Tunisian, she was exotic, fun, and sent Aaron head over heels. One night while Ava and his parents were away, Cecile and Aaron broke into the Valentine's liquor cabinet. After finishing a bottle of Johnnie Walker Black Label on their own and sharing a J, things turned sexual. A month later Cecile discovered she was pregnant, and was certain that Aaron was the father. Desperate and in a panic, Cecile acquired an abortion through a physician in Sausalito. Aaron said nothing, much too stunned and embarrassed. Cecile and he never spoke about it again and while she went on back to France, it left him wondering as to what might have been. Part of the reason why he loves philosophy so much is because of the moral conundrum this has placed him in. He could have seen himself married to Cecile and part of him desires to go back to France, and perhaps raise a family that could have been. But for now it shames him and it is a secret he keeps close to his heart.

| Public: Aaron gets around town. Handsome, popular, and a tad flirty, he's more likely to gain an eyebrow raise from townsfolk than praise for being a do-gooder or a model student. Even though he means well, many see him as an underachieving rich kid who is too wrapped up in his own little world to do anything of note - selfish and a tad immature. He's often seen about town dating or at the Public Library perusing philosophy and history books.
School: Many would dismiss Aaron as a jock with no ambition or intelligence. But this is far from the truth. Despite his lack of drive he is extremely intelligent and possesses a biting wit. A junior, he is on the wrestling team and oddly enough is a member of Chess Club and Debate Club.

| Cocky, assertive, and mentally acute, many (especially teachers) say that Aaron is an underachiever. If he cared half a wit for his grades as he did for girls, the wrestling team, and his music, he'd easily make the A-List. But Aaron lives life on his own terms and when asked about his plans for the future he'd probably say enlist in the Marines, tour the world, and retire a sated man - or find himself down and out in Paris, joining the Foreign Legion. He's the type of student who reads things of his own interest. He's keenly interested in politics, news, philosophy, and he debates vociferously. He's analytical and definitely interested in seeking out truth. But he finds the overachieving mien toolish and hackneyed. He's as witty as his sister but he doesn't shy out of the limelight.

| Valentine's Day.
For many the day is a romantic, albeit, commercialized day - the date of many consummations. But for Ava and Aaron Valentine it was the day of their birth. The son of two former glitzy Hollywood socialites, Ava and Aaron grew up in the world of Broadway and media. But while Ava learned to love it and tolerate it, Aaron grew to despise it, finding it superficial and unfulfilling. Even though he was encouraged to take on some kind of performing art, it never took. With the exception of strumming away on a Stratocaster, Aaron never was into it, preferring his world of books, video games, and as time would soon reveal, young women.
Eventually, his mother retired from the stage. His father kept his career, moving back to his own hometown of Lantern Hill where his family had roots.
Aaron enjoys his time with his grandparents, especially his grandfather, who has has introduced to him shooting, hunting, and the world of firearms. Aaron has an interest in the military life, considering enlisting, serving his two decades, and retiring comfortability - living life on his own terms. He has an interest in the outside world and excels at history and languages - especially French.
But underneath this cry for structure and a love for the outside world, there lies within Aaron Valentine a wild streak and has gained a reputation as a moody, cynical, and jaded young man.
