- Outside The Law: Dr. Kate is known around the teen circuit to be the place to go if you have health concerns you just can't trust your parents with. Things like teen pregnancy, drug or alcohol abuse and embarrassing illness are right up her alley. It's true she has contacted parents before, but this was almost always out of concern for the teen and when she herself had exhausted all possible solutions. She is found at the hospital.
