Dark Secret: A few months before his sixteenth birthday, Aaron became acquainted with a foreign exchange student from Paris, France by the name of Cecile Roche. Half-French, Half-Tunisian, she was exotic, fun, and sent Aaron head over heels. One night while Ava and his parents were away, Cecile and Aaron broke into the Valentine's liquor cabinet. After finishing a bottle of Johnnie Walker Black Label on their own and sharing a J, things turned sexual. A month later Cecile discovered she was pregnant, and was certain that Aaron was the father. Desperate and in a panic, Cecile acquired an abortion through a physician in Sausalito. Aaron said nothing, much too stunned and embarrassed. Cecile and he never spoke about it again and while she went on back to France, it left him wondering as to what might have been. Part of the reason why he loves philosophy so much is because of the moral conundrum this has placed him in. He could have seen himself married to Cecile and part of him desires to go back to France, and perhaps raise a family that could have been. But for now it shames him and it is a secret he keeps close to his heart.
