Abe/Allies

Abe was born the only child to Fredrick and Charlotte Shaw, a loving family living on the cusp of the upper middle class. Fredrick, a local lawyer and Charlotte a homemaker, loved their son unconditionally as he grew. Despite Abe’s occasionally misbehavior's or lack of ambition when it came to responsibilities, he wasn’t a terrible child. They enjoyed family vacations, yearly trips to Disney and slightly too long car rides. They over celebrated holidays and downplayed mistakes and arguments.
Abe rocketed through elementary school and junior high. He was popular, attractive and charming, so it was no surprise to anyone when, upon reaching high school, Abe stepped into the spotlight on the school’s baseball team, skipping the bench and being one of the only freshman over ten years to slide past the upperclassmen and take his spot as the team’s first basemen. This continued for freshman year and on into sophomore year. It seemed Abe had it made until, out of nowhere everything changed. Almost overnight he lost interest in sports, and while his grades didn’t suffer his parents were alarmed to discover that he’d dropped baseball as well as all his clubs. He began to hang out with a new crowd. Now, into his junior year, Abe has completed his metamorphosis into the quiet, easy going slacker that everyone at the party knows. No one asks what happened to change him, but everyone silently wonders.
