Abe/Introduction

Abe is the type of guy likely to be found hanging out in the corner of the parking lot with his few closest friends. Often the quiet guy, he seldom brags, and rather than regaling his company with tales of latest catch (which are probably much larger than he claims) he is content to merely be present, rather than the center of attention. To Abe, life is not about achieving high goals or being the very best at something, but rather about the journey to get there. He is grateful for all things in his life, and finds solace in the idea of a much larger power over his life, call it god, karma, fate..whatever you may. Abe likes his life organized and simple; this goes for his classes and also his love life. If things ever change, it is at an acceptably slow pace. Abe flourishes in small groups where everyone knows is name.

Update

This is not the Abe that many people grew up with. Before his 'weirdness' started over a year ago, Abe was a loud mouthed, opinionated jock who not only loved attention, but basked in it. After his withdrawal from the social scene, friends of his found a much more mellowed version of the jock in his place. Now that he's toeing himself back into the waters of the high school social scene, he's even more content to be overlooked than pointed out. Some students are more than a little leery of this new Abe and the unknown reason behind his change.
