Bonnie Boyd is a 17 year old Junior at North Shore High School. Only child of single, unwed mother Angelica Boyd. Life for Bonnie has been rocky from the start, and while she enjoys a healthy, love-filled relationship with her mother, living in a city like lantern Hill has it's disadvantages. being the daughter for a public advocate for 'free love', Angelica remains a scandal to many. Bonnie is perfectly aware of more than one marriage ruined by her mothers wild ways. Still, Bonnie herself is a well liked student who excels at the talent of enjoying her days. She longs to be artistic (and she's not), which has lead to a burning need to compete with Molly Ramsey, a local art prodigy.
Bonnie is an active activist in the community, and works part time at her mothers apothecary shop. She has earthy and fiery nature and is organized and responsible. She may not be the most glamorous girl in school, but her energy is passionate and she can find true happiness in the little things.
