  * Shelves hold a variety of herbs, roots, dried leaves and petals.
  * Items are found in small pouches, others dried and bundled with twine.
  * On the far wall is a counter with incense, burnersands and a cash register.
  * The store also has buttons, lighters, and environmental bumper stickers.
Log
It's early Monday afternoon, and Bonnie's sitting behind the counter of her mom's Apothecary shop. She has two books in front of her. One is her geography book while the other is an order catalog filled with herbs and stones and remedies and all sorts of supplies. Bonnie seems to be balancing the work of both of them, at least in her head. The air smells of a light sage, as if someone had lit some and walked around the room with it. Off to the sight is a smoldering sage stick in a shell for a holder. David Bowie's version of "Heroes" seems to be playing over the hidden speakers in the room.

Ellis leaving her bike to rest against the wall of the shop, near the door, the blonde enters the apothecary. Her first look isn't towards the counter, rather its towards one of the tables near the door, looking over a few small bottles of new scents.

Bonnie hears the chime that's attached to the door, a device that works for security and good customer service while also adding to the mystical ambience of the shop. She looks up and recognizes one of the girls from school. She's learned not to be overzealous with the customer service. Some customers take offense at the 'May I help you' routine. "Hey there." She says. "if you have any questions or need any help, just let me know." She says. "We've got some new crystals and pendulums in stock if you want to take a look."

Ellis glances up at the greeting, "Thanks, mostly just looking," she replies turning a smile to the girl at the counter. "Its.. Bonnie. Right?" The girl looks familiar from school to her as well, that and its not her first time in the shop.

Bonnie nods. "It sure is. Bonnie Boyd." She takes a look at Ellis. "You're looking for answers though, Miss Valencia?" She smiles, formal and casual at the same time. "We have tarot cards, if that's your thing. We have love spells, but your past that stage. You want to see his true nature." She says with a wiggle of her nose. "Or you could just be here for some tea? If you buy some I can brew it for you right here if you want to try it?" She stops. "Sorry... Not trying to give you the sales pitch. I just feel this..." she eagles her fingers, hands out to her sides.. "conflict coming off of you."

The blonde laughs, "Ellis," she comments, a reminder of her first name, a note to use it instead, perhaps a bit of both but all in a pleasant tone. "No," she shakes her head quickly, "no love potions for me thanks," she assures the girl at the counter even as she heads in her direction. "I think you had some white tea with blueberry last time?" a comment and a question as to if its still available all in one. "But conflict," she inquires, a flicker of confusion on her face, "Really?"

Bonnie nods and checks the jar. "Yeah, we still have some. Did you know how much you wanted" She finds the wax bags that are used and takes a small 6 oz. for now. She shrugs at Ellis' question. "Dunno.. I'm still kinda new at this, but your energy's definitely buzzing." The song changes to Def Leppard's "Hysteria".

Ellis ahs, not seeming to mind the discussion what some might consider strange. "Not quite that much," she notes of the tea as she watches the other measure it out. "Maybe about half? Almost fall and then it'll be time for a change." Sometimes after all you just feel like certain flavors. As for her 'energy' "Its a Monday and we just got out of school?"

Bonnie nods. "Oh certainly." She only fills the small bag halfway. "Possibly." she says, by way of Ellis' suggestion. She staples the small bag shut and labels the bag with a Sharpie. "Did you want anything else?" She asks the blonde.

Ellis shrugs, "You know more about it that I do." She's not exactly up on aura and fortune telling and all that. "Thanks," she notes of the tea. "Hmm.. yeah," she considers if there's anything else. "Do you have any oils?" Essential oils that is. "I was looking for rosemary."

Bonnie nods. "Sure. A small vial?" She asks. "So how's school?" She says, by way of making small talk. She makes her way over to a counter on the far end of the shop. She looks at the different ones. "We have zodiac oils in as well, if you're looking for something for your sign." She takes a look at the blonde. "Gemini?"

Ellis hmms, "Oh yes," she nods, momentarily distracted by something else in the shop. "So far so good," she replies about school. "In the swing of things now after summer," it can take a few weeks to get there after all, "But classes are going good. How about you?" she returns the question. "Me? Yes, Gemini."

Bonnie nods and grabs the rosemary and then grabs the tester of the gemini, walking over and handing it over to Ellis. "We have bath salts set to your sign as well." She looks around. "Did you see something?"

Ellis shakes her head in response though she does take the offered tester, twisting off the cover to wave it beneath her nose a couple times. "Nice," she notes, replacing the cap and setting the bottle on the counter. "I'll have to keep it in mind, and the salts, but I think this is good for now."

Bonnie nods. "Cool." She says as she makes her way back to the counter to ring Ellis up. "Class is good. Journalism isn't too bad, and the editor for the paper this year isn't a total misogynist dick." She comes with a total.

Ellis nods for the other girl's remark about classes. "Well that's good," she laughs as the editor is brought up, "Maybe we'll have some decent articles in it this year then. Something worth reading instead of the just the sports scores?" she comments, pulling a few bills from her pocket and turning over enough to cover her total.

Bonnie nods and hands Ellis back her change. "I'm trying. We need to cover more social issues.." She stops.. "But I'll leave my preaching for school." She says, giggling slightly. "Thanks for stopping by. If you want something that we don't have, let me know and I'll see if we can order it."

Ellis laughs, "Well good luck with it anyway," she replies, tucking the change back into her pocket before reaching for the small bag which now contains her purchase. "Thanks," she adds, "I'll be sure to let you know. See you around," the blonde leaves with a smile before turning to head back towards the door.
