Skills represent knowledge and training gained through study and practice Each skill has a corresponding trait which is used to compute skill totals

Skills are rated permitted between levels one (1) to five (5)

The Skills

  • Acrobatics: Trained tumbler, leaper and Gymnast.
  • Acting: Can feign emotions, beliefs or frames of mind. Need not actually act on stage. Can fake anger, tears, friendliness, etc.
  • Area Knowledge: Familiar with history, geography and structure of an area, usually a city.
  • Art: Create works of art of some media, sketch reasonably accurate people/place.
  • Athletics: General athletic ability.
  • Brawl: How to fight unarmed. If you don't get it beyond this...lower WITS by 3.
  • Carousing: Ability to have/give a good time at a Social event.
  • Computer: How to operate, design and understand computer systems and equipment.
  • Dancing: Dance socially or for entertainment. Familiar with most styles but specialize in one.
  • Dodge: The fine art of Getting The Hell Out Of The Way Before It Kills You. Covers almost all attack types.
  • Drive: Operating land vehicles. Does not give familiarity with all of them.
  • Empathy: Understand, predict and respond to others emotions. Can also sense lies.
  • Etiquette: Ability to understand and act under the social rules of a particular culture and get along with those of that culture.
  • Expression: Ability to get a point across to others through an art form.
  • First Aid: Basic medical attention. (Teen)
  • Flirting: Ability to lure, attract and commands the attentions of others using your looks and charm. (Teen)
  • Game Playing: You are skilled at playing games. Covers strategy games, instead(Go, Chess, etc.) (Teen)
  • Gambling: (Adult)
  • Intimidation: Can exert your will, through various means, to get what you want.
  • Investigation: (Adult)
  • Linguistics: You know another language. You gain 1 fluency level per dot. Dots are separated down for other languages.
  • Music: Creation and playing music. Each dot gained improves instrument known.
  • Performance: Similar to Expression, but uses artistic actions such as singing, acting, instrument playing or dancing.
  • Photography: Using a camera for quality, artistic pictures. Can also process photos.
  • Repair: How to fix things and limited construction of others. (Adult)
  • Research: Ability to find information on any topic from conventional sources(ex. Library) (Teen)
  • Ride: Can mount a riding animals and get where you want without anything unpleasant happening. Also gives knowledge of gear involved.
  • Seduction: (Adult)
  • Singing: Ability to sing over a wide range of notes, styles and techniques.
  • Stealth: Sneaking about and hiding without being seen. Used versus someone's Perception rating. (Teen)
  • Streetwise: Can blend into local scene, learn gossip, find people and equipment and tell who see/avoid and where the power is. (Teen)
  • Survival: How to get along in the wilderness with being hurt, sick or starved. (Adult)
  • Special

  • Animal Training: (Teen)
  • Bribery: (Adult)
  • Computer Hacking: Use imagination and creativity to break programming barriers. Need 2 Computer dots. (Teen)
  • Firearms: Know how to work all guns up to artillery-style. Can also maintain and work limited repairs on them.
  • Forgery: Copy documents or 2D artwork to make it seem as original to inspection.
  • Instruction: (Teen)
  • Journalism: (Teen)
  • Lip Reading:
  • Lockpicking: Opening locks without the correct key or combination. Doesn't apply to all new Security Systems.
  • Mechanic: Can Build, repair and maintain mechanical devices with the correct tools, materials and time. (Teen)
  • Melee: How to fight with a hand-held weapon. From knives and spears to Chairs.
  • Pickpocket: Remove objects from another person without them knowing it, even if in a pocket.
  • Repair: How to fix things and limited construction of others. (Teen)
  • Sleight of Hand: Use quick motions to deceive others eyes. Perform Magic tricks and the like.
  • Streetwise: Can blend into local scene, learn gossip, find people and equipment and tell who see/avoid and where the power is. (Adult)
  • Survival: How to get along in the wilderness with being hurt, sick or starved. (Teen)
