A Glimpse Within
At first glance Alex seems to be the typical jock type who excels at sports and enjoys parties. Both are quite true but he is also quite smart as well. He takes on a lot of projects, schoolwork, football, basketball, and writing for the school paper. He is smart, excels at sports, he also enjoys a good party and likes to flirt. As a person Alex is very friendly and easy going unless you try to control him.

Character Background
Alexander James Bennett was the only child born to Judge Howard Bennett and his wife Amelia who was a lawyer. The couple lived in Lantern Hill, California and made enough money to live quite comfortably with ample luxuries. Their son Alex was a smart child he earned to walk and talk early and then moved up to reading. His quick early development only encouraged his parents to try and ensure he did the best he could. He had a happy childhood and when he started school he was at the top of his class. He was teased at first but quickly learned how to befriend others as well as study. He loved learning but also enjoyed talking with his friends and in middle school he started playing sports and discovered another gift he had. Of all his classes he enjoyed English the best for the very reason others hated it. He loved to write and began to develop a desire to become a journalist. When he started High School at North Shore he was quickly picked for the football and basketball teams and also helped with the school yearbook. His grades went down slightly but never below passing and his parents kept pressuring him to do better. Howard and Amelia at this point had gotten very controlling the refused to get him a car but expected his grades to be top notch. He felt strangled but he loves them both and wants to make them proud so he says nothing and secretly goes out to party to blow off steam from time to time. He maintains a balance with his time that most his age would have trouble with and yet he is fairly happy with his life so far.
