The center portion the floor is a hardwood, official sized basketball court.

  • Bleachers stretch along the walls on either side of the court.
  • During the day the bleachers are pushed closed, providing room for classes.

With the P.E period going strong at the moment, allowing for a bit in leeway for the students in what they are doing, a lot of the students are taking water break. Among them being Gildart. A slight sweat showing on him as well as he makes his way over to reach for something. For anyone actually watching him they might notice that he's just using his inhaler. Studying the other students that are around near him.

Lizzy had been shooting hoops with a couple of the other girls, but their little game had just ended, and the tall teenager had decided she wanted a water break. She walks over towards the water fountain and takes a drink. She glances over at Gildart, noticing him there, and giving the football player a nod. "Hey there. Tough luck with the game last week, but you'll do well this time". She played on the basketball team, she knew what it was like to take a tough loss.

As Lizzy speaks to him Gildart does look over to offer a smile and nod to her. "Hi." Comes a short reply before listening to what she has to offer, while he's putting aside the inhaler. "Yeah, but I am sure we can all do better. We should do better from now on I hope. I am sure we'll do better if you're around to cheer us on as well." He offers in a rather playful manner.

The girl laughs. "Hopefully it'll work better this week than it did last week". If Lizzy saw the inhaler, she doesn't comment upon it. "Gildart. You used to live around here during elementary school, right?" The name was pretty dang distinctive, really. It wasn't something like Bob or Jack. "Used to run around the playground a bunch back then. This isn't all that much different, really," the girl comments. "Though I bet they've banned dodgeball by now as too dangerous or something like that. Where'd you end up moving to, anyway?" she asks.

There is a replied grin as she laughs, nodding a bit. "Let's hope so." He offers with a bright smile on his lips. "Ah, yeah. Awhile back. Went to study in the UK." If one thinks about it they can probably hear that bit of british accent as well. What with his father being british, billionaire Phillip Dunmore. "Well, what else is there to do other than run around or chat?" He suggests, glancing around a bit before resting his hands on his hips and his eyes going back to Lizzy. "If I am not mistaken you'd often run around in the neighborhood when we were younger, didn't you?" Trying to be sure that he's not confusing her with someone else.

"That was me. Always trying some stunt or another in the neighborhood, just to see if I could do it before my father decided I'd skinned my knees or whatever too many times," Lizzy offers back to Gildart. She wasn't quite on the same financial level as Gildart, but her family was well enough off that she'd be considered rich by most standards. "So what was it like living in the UK compared to here?" she asks. "Any huge differences, or is it all a little bit overstated?" Lizzy asks curiously.

"Well, it seems to have done you well." Gildart offers, always being a charmer. As for any financial differences he doesn't seem to mind or care. He's used to being the one with the wealthiest family after all. "Well, it was a bit different. Especially going to a bigshot private school. Got to learn to play lacrosse as well as rugby. Though not quite the same as american football." He says and shrugs. "Though perhaps a bit overstated. Though it was indeed a bit different at the very least."

"Thanks. It looks like your time overseas has done you well too," she adds with a smile. "Never really tried those sports," Lizzy admits. "More of the classic American sports here, though they don't actually offer my main sport at school," she admits. "I bet some of the rugby skills help with football though, especially with running back". She didn't know much about lacrosse, but she knew rugby was basically a rougher version of football with some other rules. Her knowledge of the sport was minimal though.

At her replied compliment Gildart does smirk a bit, "Why, thank you. As for the sports, I think they are rather interesting. Rugby has indeed offered some help for football. Though so has lacrosse. It's given me antipaction." He offers and grins. "What else do you usually do these days? Or still running up and down the neighborhood?"

"Me? Sports and computers, the two things that aren't supposed to meet," Lizzy responds with a grin. "I'm doing basketball and powerlifting, and looking to take up softball this year again after not playing for a few years". She casually shrugs at that. "And the computers, well, that just became a thing that seemed interesting, so I started messing about with it during my freetime".

"Ah." Comes Gildart's reply, along with a bit of a chuckle. "Nothing too bad I suppose. I mean I am sure that most football players have one of those quirky sides as well." He suggests. Though falling quiet as she continues to speak. Starting to move a bit to allow it to look like their actually doing something other than just talking. "Those are interesting things. Perhaps I should try getting my hand in another sport?" He suggests and smirks, causing his appearance to look a bit childish even. "I am thinking that most of the players don't have time for one though. Also, I'll go to you if I have any computer issues. It's not like it'll take too long for me to get over to your place."

"True enough," Lizzy responds. "You could probably sign up for something in the Spring though," she suggests. "They actually have lacrosse here as a Spring sport," she points out. A glance is given to the gym teacher. "We better get back to doing something though. We're getting the old stink eye," she adds with a wink before she jogs off to partake in gym class activities.
