A Glimpse Within...

If you need advice, you could do a lot worse than asking Kelly for his opinion. At the very least you'll get a response that's deeply thought out and lacking in any colorful candy coating. Best described as subtly intense, Kelly's emotions (all his emotions) burn white hot at all hours of the day. Despite this Kelly is more the strong silent type than the upfront and confrontational. He hates the spotlight and will actually go to great lengths to avoid being the center of attention. Brave and easy going, he's the first to comfort a crying friend or help someone through a hard time in their life. That being said he really doesn't like crises, and will go to great lengths to avoid them. He's the type to take the burned cookie on the plate and not complain. Self-aggrandizement is not on his agenda. He's used to being overlooked, and is a truly humble individual. Of course this does not mean that he's a martyr. He can break free of his quiet shell with great force if necessary.

Reputation

Public: A lot of people may not know Kelly as much more than one of the guys that hangs out in the parking lot before and after school. Those that do know him recognize him as the son of fallen TV star Victoria Rae-Black. A woman fallen from grace shortly after the death of her husband three years ago, Rae and her only son live in a small house on Faircrest.

Update: (Early November) Kelly was one of the North Shore students injured by the synthetic street drug Bionic-E. He was hospitalized for a short time and released, making a full recovery. Shortly after the release, Kelly suffered new troubles and was eventually hospitalized for self-inflicted injuries. Investigation into his actions eventually lead to the arrest of his mother. A few months later his rumors began that his long time girlfriend Kaicee Kane found out she was pregnant.

School: Kelly moved back a few years ago, right after his dad died. They live over on Faircrest. He keeps to himself most days, but you seem him around. He seems more content to fade into the background than be a main stream contender. I hear he's a pretty great surfer though. Oh, and his moms a hottie too, but she's a complete train wreck. Some stars don't fall from grace very gracefully.

Street: Kelly' hardly a criminal but he's had his hands in the occasional petty crime. Normally his only sin is buying weed.

What The News Tells Us: Victoria Rae-Black was arrested in November for 3 counts of attempted murder, and seven counts of causing grievous bodily harm. She is currently serving time in a state facility where she can receive the help she needs. She has been confirmed to suffer from munchausen by proxy. Since her arrest Kelly and his brother Jamie are living with their grandmother in the families home.

Once Famous Mom: Kelly was never famous but his mom had a well known (but short-lived) career in television. One of prime time televisions sweethearts, Victoria Rae-Blacks career was on the rise when her husbands sudden death sent her spiraling into depression and alcohol abuse. She and Kelly moved into town three years ago.
